The Vintage Love Birds Shoot:
Our vision for this look was to create a romantic ceremony set up in the exquisite Grade II listed Orangery, featuring an avenue of floating silk cherry blossom trees and vintage glass candle sticks, with a white carpeted aisle lined with scattered rose petals. We envisaged our bride walking down the aisle in a mist of pink cherry blossom trees and the happy couple would marry under a romantic archway of pink blossom trees, surrounded by candles and scattered rose petals
The wedding breakfast table offers a luxurious pink and gold set-up in the Orangery, with views across to the Cloister and Manor House. A crisp white tablecloth and ruched dusky blossom pink cheese cloth runner, filled with vintage gold candlesticks and terrariums, gold rimmed plates and crystal band glassware, beautifully finished with gold cutlery and a pretty floral bowl table centre arrangement.
The show stopping cake was inspired by torn paper – using fondant to create a contemporary texture which was balanced by delicate ethereal sugar flowers in soft blush and white with gold accents. The cake complemented the dessert table which featured watercolour iced vanilla bean biscuits, coconut macarons, lemon miniature cupcakes, cake pops and Belgian chocolates. The striking stationery featuring vintage love birds and botanicals reflected the pink and gold theme and was the inspiration behind the name of this shoot. The vintage birds and botanicals harp back to another era, but is juxtaposed with a modern minimalist edge that was used across the stationery suite. The bridal dress supplied by Mirror Mirror is Davies by Pronovias Privee. This ethereal feathery embroidered and delicately beaded gown is slim fitting with long sleeves, with an illusion buttoned back and a sumptuous detachable train.
We were just delighted when we made publication in Your Surrey Wedding Magazine with this look!
Roma Meadows Look
We love the Boho Luxe vibe too and couldn’t resist using Minley Manor’s incredible grounds to showcase the romantic and Boho Luxe Roma dress by Gemy Maalouf, supplied by Mirror Mirror. This incredible gown has a deep V corset bodice which can be worn ‘off the shoulder’. The diaphanous circular cut skirt features bands of lace over a slim inner lining. Our Boho bride looked stunning walking through the grass meadows surrounding the Manor House, holding a simple bouquet of dried pampas grass and wild foliage.
The Wedding Breakfast tablescape in the Orangery incorporated lots of beautiful Boho luxe details and incorporated a dusky pink, black and gold colour theme. The table was dressed with a simple white tablecloth and a dusky pink table runner to the floor. Simply decorated with varying height, slimline modern black candlesticks and matching vases filled with tall, dried pampas grass heads and a simple wooden block and candle centre piece. Gold cutlery with black rimmed clear glass chargers, topped with gold rimmed china plates, black bowls and a modern rectangular monochrome place card. A Boho inspired square table card with the cute wording of “Love made us do it” added a little personal touch to the table, along with a pretty little sweet treat. Light wood cross back chairs with rattan seat pads finished off this stunning modern Boho Luxe tablescape.
The Wellingtonia
Our vision for this look was to create an elegant outdoor ceremony set up at the head of the magnificent 480 meter Wellingtonia Avenue, with the stunning Manor House entrance forming the backdrop. This colour scheme offered a mix of light greys, soft peach and dusky blues.
The beautiful bride is wearing Lolabrigida by Pronovias, which has a sculpted lace bodice with a deep V front and an illusion back. The full organza skirt features asymmetric tiers.
The Groom wore VivaldiPro London Grey Check Lounge Suit.
The happy couple and their guests would have their wedding breakfast in the beautiful Orangery, with views across to the Cloister and Manor House. The white washed wooden trestle table was elegantly dressed with a grey organza and textured dusky blue cheese cloth table runner to the floor. The table was filled with vintage glass candlesticks, silvered glass chargers with plain white china plates and silver cutlery. A ghost pedestal of soft flowing foliage and pretty peach and blue florals created a tall and majestic table centre. The table number card reflected the table florals and each place setting had a beautiful matching tea length floral menu with a personalised guest name tag, secured together by a simple silver wax seal. Understated light wood cross back chairs with rattan seat pads finished off this table set-up beautifully.
